Women Walking the City at Night

A collective walk exploring our relationship to the city at night, following the path marked by the trajectory of the full moon from 9pm, 6 October, 2025.

Artist/researcher @eleonore_ozanne provided the following prompt:

We will start walking, following the path of the moon. Women who would like to join us along the way are welcome. Whoever wants to leave the walk can do so at any time. The walk will end when there are four women left walking or when the group decides to stop. We recommend bringing comfortable shoes, some water and a snack. The project does not aim to reinforce a binary vision of gender. If your body, your history or your experience resonates with this proposal, you are welcome. After the walk, please share any video, audio or written message.

In Australia, we held three concurrent walks:

  • Sydney, meeting at Central Station with @molly_l_wagner

  • Brisbane, meeting at Bulimba Ferry Terminal with @hellecook

  • Melbourne meeting at the State Library with @aapsalt
